You guys, I am sure I speak for all of us when I say I am SO over this winter. Time to pack up and move to the Caribbean! I am craving some Spring in my life (only 20 days left!). This wintery weather has me not even enjoying my winter/holiday decor. The March holiday tree is up but I am dying to take it down.As soon as St. Patrick’s Day (my favorite day of the year) is over, the tree is coming down and it will be full on Spring in the Canuel house. But since I did decorate the tree for $2, I just have to share it. I used green Christmas balls and floral picks that I picked up at the Christmas Tree Shop for $1 a pack. $2 and done! The pot of gold was a score from clearance Halloween a few years ago. I stuffed some gold tissue paper in there and voila! And yes, that was my silver winter tree in the background. I took that down last week because I couldn’t stand looking at it one minute longer, ha! I really liked the tree when I did it. Maybe if we’d been having a better winter, I wouldn’t mind looking at it so much.
