This is the first(ish) post in my new series, Currently Crushing. I’m always falling in love with something so why not share my love for it?

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you’ll know that the other week I was crushing hard on these awesome bar stools I scored for $50 each at my home away from home, Marshalls.  They’re so sleek and très chic!

To kick things off, I thought instead of posting about something I purchased, I’d talk about my biggest crush of all time: my sweet, sweet husband.  Today he is celebrating his 35th birthday! He’s spending his day working on the house getting all the last minute things done for our party this weekend. Who takes a vacation day on their birthday to grout some tile, change ceiling lights and paint? My selfless hubby. He is the absolute best. Without him, there would be no Harvard to be styled. He’s my crème de la crème.  My sunshine on a rainy day. My creative styling partner. My forever crush. Happy birthday to the man who still gives me butterflies! I love you so much, Jame!  Cheers!

My lovey doveyness (is that even a word?) inspired me to create some new art for the living room. I am def #currentlycrushing on this. They turned out exactly as I had envisioned. You can purchase the prints for yourself over at my Etsy shop!
