Happy Monday!! Today is a super happy Monday for us — we’re celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary. 2 years!! Time sure does fly. We had an unusually warm day that year, almost 80º. Today’s weather is reminiscent. I love warm May days!

A year ago today, we celebrated our 1 year anniversary in Punta Cana. With all the work we’ve been doing on the house, we opted for a quick and low key getaway to one of my favorite places — Cape Cod. Today we’ll be enjoying a couples massage followed by some shopping and then lunch at one of our favorite restaurants, The Brazilian Grill.  The steak and cheese rodizio is to die for! (Fun fact: I’m part Brazilian and Carmen Miranda was my cousin.)

When we started this journey 2 short years ago, owning our own home was a distant dream. We look at each other every now and then and are still in awe of how far we’ve come. That’s the great thing about life; you never know where it’s going to take you. Sometimes up, sometimes down, but at the end of the day if you’re surrounded by the ones you love, that’s all that matters.

I want to wish my handsome husband a very happy anniversary. These past 2 years of marriage have been an amazingly awesome adventure and I can’t imagine going through life with anyone but you. After nearly 7 years of togetherness, you still give me butterflies when you walk in the room. Our dreams never would have been realized without you and all that you do. Thank you for being such a wonderfully supportive partner and hard worker. You have my whole heart forever. “Ever thine, ever mine, ever ours.” I love you!!!
