Styling Harvard Parties: Royal Wedding Party Recap

Cheerio, loves! I’m still coming down off my high from a weekend of fun and festivities. I hope you all had a great weekend too! I hosted a Royal Wedding viewing party on Saturday morning and it was so much fun! Read on to get the whole Royal Wedding party recap.

We decided that having a house full of people at 5 am was a bit too much so I recorded the coverage and everyone came over at 8:30 instead.  I was still up early prepping the food. If you’re a member of my family, you know food is the most important part of any event. And if you’re me, decorations are right behind in second place. For food, we had lots of our favorite British staples: cucumber sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, sausage rolls, crumpets, Eton Mess and of course, lots of tea! We also had banana bread, muffins, toast, (carb overload) oranges and eggs.  My sister and I are always extra, especially when it comes to parties, so of course we had to dress the part! No one can ever accuse of us not having fun, haha!   I wore this skirt in London and got so many compliments on it! I figured if the Brits are loving it, then it must be good! I ordered the bunting, St. George’s flags and mini flags from Amazon. They were super inexpensive and made a huge impact. Now I don’t want to take it down!

Let me know how you celebrated watching the wedding by leaving a comment below! Have a great rest of your week!
