Yikes! It’s been over 3 months since my last post…where did the time go?? I took full advantage and had a lazy summer. Beach days, cookouts, day trips…it was a great few months. It sure is easy to let blogging fall to the wayside. I hope you all had a wonderful summer! It seems like I blinked and September and October were over! I have to admit, as much as I loved summer, I was beginning to crave the coziness of fall. The crunching of leaves, the cool weather and oversized sweaters, the smell of all things pumpkin and apple. And of course that means, the start of the holiday decorating can begin! Here’s a little recap of what I’ve been up to! I made these Pinterest inspired witch legs. I updated my homemade chalkboard (tutorial to come) and decorated my mantle for Halloween. I carved a pineapple-o-lantern (a lopsided one at that!) We finally finished our guest room… …just in time to host a football party the next day, complete with a root beer float station! I decorated for Thanksgiving……and I set up this year’s hot chocolate station complete with homemade cocoa!I think that about covers everything! I’ll be posting some of the DIY tutorials I’ve worked on over these past few months in the coming weeks. I’m also working on getting my Etsy shop updated for the holidays so check in there for some great little Christmas gifts!
